This year the committee hopes to come to some definite decisions about the future of the Youth Club and Sports Hall buildings. Don't forget that the new noticeboard in front of the Hall is now available for advertising your event up to a week in advance. Please pass your posters to Angela Clarke at Church Cottage or Barry Sharples at Little Croft.

Hall Events

On the evening of Friday 3rd at 7.00pm, you are invited to a Soup Evening on behalf of the Bosbury Bellringers. There will be a range of home-made soups, bread and cheese, a bar and a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Tickets are £8 each or £20 for a Family ticket. On Thursday 9th February at 7.30pm Bosbury WI Group are hosting a talk on ‘A History of Maddresfield Court’ by Mr Brian Jauncey.

The new Pilates groups are off to a flying start at the Parish Hall. To take part, all you need is a mat and a cushion.
The weekly Monday class is from 11.00am to 12 noon, with Joy Pearman and will run for four more weeks at £7 weekly (full course was £30). All are welcome and a good number have joined already.
The weekly Tuesday class is from 9.15am to 10.15am, with Sally Nicholls. This is £5 per session. All are welcome and in particular it may prove useful for parents who have just dropped children off at school.

On Friday 17th February Flicks in the Sticks are showing the brand-new cold war thriller, ‘Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy’ (15) In the 1970’s, George Smiley (Gary Oldman), a recently retired M16 agent, is trying to adjust to a life outside the secret service. But when a disgraced agent reappears with information concerning a mole at the heart of the 'Circus’, Smiley is given the job of investigating his trusted former colleagues.

The film starts at 7.30 pm and tickets are £4.50 for adults. £2.50 for children.

The next Farmers Market is on Saturday 18th February. All the usual good food stalls with seasonal produce, a range of Fairtrade items and refreshments with tea, coffee and soft drinks being served. It is open from 10.30am to noon and entry as always is free. To take a stall you need to pre-book by calling (01531) 640076 or 640415.
